Expatriate Samiul Sajid’s house was attacked and vandalized

Miscreants attacked and vandalized the house of Samiul Hossain Sajid, a former member of the Chandpur District Chhatra League. At that time, his mother and sister, who were staying at home, managed to escape and protect themselves. The incident took place in Manoharkhadi area of ​​Ward No. 15 of Chandpur Sadar Upazila around 8 pm on Sunday (February 9).Locals said that at night some youths took position in front of that house with sticks and weapons.

At that time, they threatened Sajid and his family members to come out of the house by abusing and threatening them. At one point, the door was broken and the furniture of the house was destroyed. At this time panic spread throughout the area.
Sajid’s mother cried and said, we are very innocent people. Sajid and his father are currently abroad. We are both at home. Terrorists attacked us with weapons. Basically they came to kill my son. But without finding anyone, they ransacked our house. Threatened us with torture. Sajid is in danger of death when he comes to the country. I informed the police about this but did not get any help.
When asked about this, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chandpur Model Police Station said that he received information about the attack on that house. Further action will be taken subject to investigation.
